New Year, New You

Happy New Year! January is the time when we all start making resolutions for what we would like from ourselves in the upcoming year, and most people focus on fitness and their overall well-being. Unfortunately, after the first month of giving it our all, about 90% end up giving up and going back to their old ways…

Below are some quick videos to help you target the areas that you want to strengthen and slim down…the best part is, all of these videos are simple enough to complete in under 20 minutes.

The key to staying on top of your routine is to try these videos in moderation. If its been awhile since you have been focused on fitness, why not try one a day, until you’re able to build up a steady routine? Whatever you do, avoid completing the same exercises daily, for fear of boredom,or more so, the lack of results from overworking the same muscle groups.

Remember: as long as you continue to trick those muscles, stick to a healthy diet, and pick a consistent time of day to make time for you and your workout, before you know it, you will start seeing results that will empower you to continue down your path for a long, happy, healthy, and fit 2016!

 

P90X2  Ab Ripper Workout:

I swear by these p90x workouts…especially this one! If you have time to sit through an episode of this week’s Vanderpump Rules, then you have time to complete this 15 minute ab routine, guaranteed to sculpt your mid-section in a matter of a month (if you stick with it!!)

 

5-Minute Leg-Toning Workout:

Trying to break free from that unwanted flab, or “cottage cheese” thighs before bathing suit season? if you start up with this quick leg workout, just a few times a week, the results will b worth the 5 minutes of pain and gain!

 

10 Minute Pilate/Butt Burning Workout:

Because I am a true believer in Pilates and Yoga, and with the brief time that I have become a “Yogi” I am seeing more muscle definition throughout my entire body with just a few days a week of practicing! Pilates has the added bonus of strictly focusing on the core to help strengthen and lengthen your spine and muscles while gaining an increase in flexibility and overall mental and physical wellness.

 

Weight Resistance Arm Workout:

Own a pair of dumbells? Have 12 minutes? That’s all it takes to help slim and sculpt your arms, and get rid of that unwanted jiggle from those triceps!

 

5-Minute Shape Up Full Body Short Cuts:

To start 2016 off right, start with this adrenaline-pumping video. This video is the platform for all of the key exercises that should be part of your daily workout routine…as you begin to use correct form, and strengthen your muscles, keep it on repeat!
